Andrea Edmonds MBA, CPA, CGMA, PMP
Andrea joined Tardy & Co., PC in 2026, partnering with Cathie to help operate and expand the business. With over 30 years of experience in diverse financial leadership positions—from major corporations to startups, Andrea Edmonds is a highly experienced finance professional. She has served as CFO and CEO for small companies, supporting them with funding, financial management, tax planning, establishing and optimizing processes, staffing, and acquisitions. Her expertise spans healthcare, semiconductors, software-as-a-service, real estate, financial services, and several non-profit organizations.
Andrea is dedicated to delivering value to clients by leveraging tax strategies and consulting services tailored for small businesses and their owners. As a finance executive with extensive experience in financial strategy, Andrea expertly manages a variety of funding approaches and ensures compliance. She excels in scaling operations, financial and tax strategy, implementing process improvements, and recruiting and leading high-performing teams. Andrea collaborates effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels to maintain compliance and foster sustainable growth. Her proven track record includes developing robust financial infrastructure, overseeing audits, managing contracts, and optimizing resource allocation to drive long-term success.
Andrea began her career at Arthur Andersen and Price Waterhouse Coopers, followed by 16 years at Intel. She has since leveraged her big company experience in financial leadership for the last 10+ years with startups across diverse industries, including restaurant POS, software as a service, hydrogen generation, and cybersecurity.
Andrea is a native of New Mexico and holds both a BBA with a concentration in Accounting and an MBA with dual concentrations in Management Information Systems and Taxation from the University of New Mexico. She is a Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Global Management Accountant, and Project Management Professional. Andrea currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Sandia Heights Homeowners Association and has previously chaired the Financial Executives International Committee on Employee Benefits. Additionally, she has volunteered with Junior Achievement and Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Mexico.
