Gross Receipt Tax Increase effective January 1st!

An alert to our clients doing business in Santa Fe County, the Gross Receipt Tax is going up on January 1st!  It will now be 8.4375% in the city of Santa Fe and 9.0625% in Espanola.

Also, to our clients doing business in Tijeras, the Gross Receipt Tax is going up on January 1st!  It will now be 7.8750%!

Unless you are in a special district in Bernalillo, such as a Pueblo, your rate is still 7.5%!  If you need help determining your rate, let us know.

This rate takes effect on January 1st, 2018, this coming Monday!

Here is a PDF of the current GRT rates throughout New Mexico.  Just note, only rates with asterisks have changed, which are mostly in Chaves, Eddy, Rio Arriba, and Santa Fe counties.
